  • Instructional Expectations- Hybrid Model

    Parents/Guardians and Students,
Please know that the district has made a decision that students will return to school on Monday, February 8, 2021, in our hybrid model.  As before, we will be following the same "A" and "B" schedule, last name beginning with A-K attends on Monday and Tuesday, and last name beginning with L-Z attends Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays will be virtual for all students and will be considered flexible instruction days at MBM allowing teachers to Zoom with students as needed for remediation or enrichment.  As before, an attendance question will be sent every morning for all students to answer as to where their education for the day is taking place, MBM or Virtual.
As we plan to go back to our hybrid model of instruction, please know that your voices have been heard.  At MBM, we will be live streaming all of our classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and ask parents to encourage each student to follow their daily schedule when they are learning virtually from home.  For those students that can not follow their daily schedule, instructional videos will still be posted, but opportunity for live interaction will be lost.  As we move forward and get closer to bringing all students back 4 days a week, we encourage all students to interact with their teachers as much as possible at this time.  Interaction helps both parties, students and teachers, as it provides immediate feedback and informal assessment.  If students have any instructional questions, they should immediately reach out to their teacher(s).
